Isi Trapido's most renowned photo, "Speed," has been turned into a limited edition NFT series in collaboration with his son Toomas Trapido and artist Ave Teeääre. Isi Trapido was a professional photographer who captured thousands of historic events and people in sports and culture. His most famous photo, "Speed," depicts Olympic gold medalist Ants Antson during training. This photo captures both the speed and the face of the skater at the same time, making it a remarkable photo from its era.
Now, Isi Trapido's most awarded photo has been transformed into a series of animations that come in three color tones: original, warm, and cold. Each NFT showcases the skater completing two laps in the rink, with the Olympic gold medal appearing at the end of the last lap. NFTs depicting the start and finish of the competition are paired with a physical print of "Speed," signed and numbered by Toomas Trapido and including a copy of Isi Trapido's author stamp.
